Here’s What’s Next For Our Workgroup

Congratulations to JetBlue Inflight Crewmembers on securing our first Contract as members of the Transport Workers Union (TWU)! Our workgroup voted to ratify TA2 by a margin of 65.58% to 34.42%, with a participation rate of 85%! Thanks again to all who voted!

So, what’s next for our workgroup? Most provisions of our new Contract will go into effect immediately—with the end of voting yesterday, we are now officially covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). There are many technical changes to be made, so full application of TA2 into our work can take additional time. The Union and Company are currently in discussion to finalize an implementation schedule. However, if you see the contract being violated, you can reach out to TWU for assistance. Read more

TWU/JetBlue TA2 Ratification Results

On behalf of TWU, I want to thank the IFCs on the TWU/JetBlue IFC Negotiating Team and TAP Committee for their tireless efforts in negotiating this strong, foundational Contract; none of this would have been possible without their hard work and dedication.

This Union is proud of the way IFCs rallied together over the past several years to bring this historic accomplishment to fruition. This collective bargaining agreement will bring positive changes that will impact your everyday life for years to come, including: over 10% payscale raises over the life of the Contract, creating a grievance procedure, keeping the Company accountable to our new contractual work rules, and so much more. Pay Wins, Reserve Wins, and Scheduling Wins—Oh, My!

Tentative Agreement 2 voting is open now through Monday, December 13th at 1900, EST, so let’s take a moment to review some of the biggest wins secured in TA2.
This agreement is the byproduct of years of negotiating, and we’re really proud of the wins we secured for new IFCs and the entire workgroup.
