TWU / JetBlue Negotiations Update – 10-19-2018

This week your TWU Negotiating Team (NT) met with JetBlue Management in New York for a three-day negotiating session. During this meeting your NT and JetBlue Management reached Tentative Agreements on the following articles:

  • Uniforms
  • Leaves of Absence
  • Savings Clause
  • Furlough/Recall

We have now reached a total of twelve Tentative Agreements. In addition to these agreements, we exchanged counter-proposals on the following items:

  • Occupational Seniority
  • Commuter Policy

Your NT also presented new proposals to Management on the following, scheduling-related articles:

  • Scheduling
  • Bidding
  • Rescheduling
  • Exchange of Trips
  • Bases
  • Reserve
  • Moving Expenses

Management is reviewing these important scheduling and quality of life articles, and we look forward to additional discussion at our next negotiating session, which is scheduled for November 5–8 in New York. We cannot release details of proposals or tentative agreements, because they are not considered final until a full agreement is reached; however, we are pleased with the progress we are making at the table.

Thank you for your ongoing support of your NT. If you have any questions or comments regarding Negotiations, please contact your NT at B6NT@twu.org.

In Solidarity,
Your TWU IFC Negotiating Team
