TWU Negotiations Update – 03-22-2019

This week, your TWU / JetBlue IFC Negotiating Team (NT) conducted a three-day bargaining session with Jetblue Management in New York. Your NT and Management were able to reach one Tentative Agreement (TA) on Training that covers all issues except expenses and compensation, which will be addressed in other articles. Your NT and Management also discussed the following articles:

  • Expenses
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Rescheduling

While your NT and Management were not able to reach TAs on these items, we held productive discussions that will continue at the next negotiating session on April 17–18 in Washington, DC.

Our Union is pleased to launch a new website for our JetBlue IFCs. Please visit b6.twu.org to find information about our negotiations; links to Transport Workers Union (TWU) resources, including scholarship application forms and the new TWU Health and Safety and Toxic Fume reporting form; and the “Contact Us” form, which allows you to add or update your contact information and submit questions or comments to your Negotiating Team. While we will continue to communicate with you directly through email and social media, the website creates a central repository that will allow you to access all TWU and negotiations data quickly and easily.

Thank you for your continued support and unity as we negotiate our historic first contract. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact your NT at b6nt@twu.org
