Your TWU JetBlue/IFC Negotiating Team (NT) has been deep in talks with JetBlue Leadership, fighting to secure a strong, foundational contract that Inflight Crewmembers can be proud of and feel respected by. We heard you loud and clear—we need company accountability, a pay raise, and a legally binding contract that prevents the Company from implementing arbitrary, unilateral, and abusive changes to our work rules—and we’re proud to announce that we have reached a Tentative Agreement (TA2) that covers these goals. Thank you to everyone who attended our TWU JetBlue IFC NT/TAP Zoom Town Hall last night. Our IFCs got the opportunity to get full updates on negotiations, the vaccine mandate, our TWU Ambassador Program (TAP), and the recent lawsuit filed by TWU against JetBlue Critical Coverage requirements. IFCs also had the opportunity to submit questions live on the call for NT and TAP Team members to answer. Read more
Your TWU/JetBlue IFC Negotiating Team (NT) and TWU Ambassador Program (TAP) Team are hosting a Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, October 28 at 7:00, P.M., EDT. Your TWU/JetBlue IFC Negotiating Team (NT) has just completed a three-day bargaining session with JetBlue Management in New York City. While we did hold productive discussions and reached resolution on some smaller issues, we were not able to reach final resolution on some very major issues that are important to IFCs. While we have made significant progress over the last few months, it is understandable that the issues most important to IFCs are the ones that must be hardest fought at the table, and we want you to join that fight by joining our TAP Team. We hope that all of our IFCs that live or whose loved ones live in the path of Hurricane Ida are safe. If you require assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out so that we can direct you to all available resources.

We’d like to welcome you to the first of many Union Tuesdays provided by our Union Leadership. Union Tuesdays will provide an opportunity to get to know your TWU/JetBlue IFC Negotiating Team (NT) members, TWU International leadership, and our TAP team, as well as other TWU/JetBlue IFC advocates. We wanted to create an atmosphere that touched on our “FUN” company value, something that has been severely lacking at present, and give you access to individuals you may have only seen online over the past several months. We encourage you to ask your TWU leadership any questions you may have, and we will be sure to direct you to the correct answer, person, or resource as soon as we can. Read more
The TWU & TAP Steering Committee has heard of the new implementations of doctor’s notes over the critical coverage days. Unfortunately, in the absence of a ratified agreement which provides us a grievance procedure, JetBlue management maintains the unilateral right to make changes that can have a significant impact on our lives. The company can and will amend their practices as outlined in the Blue Book for business purposes, and the only way we can stop that is if we have a contract. Read more
As our TWU/JetBlue IFC Negotiating Team (NT) continues to fight for us at the negotiating table, we’d like to introduce an IFC-led advocacy program that was formed based on feedback given to TWU. We recognize the need for education—not only as it pertains to our Tentative Agreement (TA) but to our Union as a whole. We need to understand how our Union works and empowers us, so we’d like to introduce you to the B6 TWU Ambassador Program (TAP) Steering Committee: Lyndi Howard (Chair), Jill Harris, Tyesha Best, and Elizabeth Smith.
