COVID-19 Survey and Updated CDC Guidelines for Testing

Hello, {{ FirstName | default: ‘JetBlue IFCs’ }},

We just wanted to ask you to take a moment to complete the TWU/JetBlue IFC COVID-19 Survey. The TWU is trying to determine how many IFCs have been personally impacted by COVID-19, and we want to evaluate the effectiveness of the changes we have negotiated for you. We encourage all IFCS to complete this survey, and we ask you to share the link with your co-workers to increase our sample size. We have not set a closing date for this survey. If you have any changes to report, you can take the survey again, and we will use your last submitted survey. All information submitted will be kept confidential.

It’s also important to note, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have updated the symptoms associated with COVID-19. If you or a member of your family are experiencing any of the following symptoms, please reach out to your healthcare provider.

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

Or at least two of these symptoms:

    • Fever
    • Chills
    • Repeated shaking with chills
    • Muscle pain
    • Headache
    • Sore throat
    • New loss of taste or smell

To be clear, this list is NOT all inclusive. If you have any concerns, there are some local, county, and state health agencies conducting tests for COVID-19, even if you aren’t displaying symptoms. Some are testing the general public and some are testing essential workers, but reach out to your local agency on this list, and inquire whether you can be tested. If this list doesn’t help you, Google your city or county along with “COVID-19 testing.” You can also email us at b6twu@twu.org, and we will try to help you.

Thank you for all you do to keep JetBlue in the air. You are essential workers who are vital to the continued success of our industry as a whole. Fly safely, and stay strong.
